IP Mac & Cheese With Optional Peas

Ingredients

  • 450 g Dry macaroni
  • 100 g Frozen Peas
  • 1 ltr Vegetable stock
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • 40 g Butter cubed
  • 240 g Grated cheese
  • 125 ml Whole milk
  • 40 g Cream Cheese

Instructions

  1. Place pasta, peas, turmeric & stock into Instant Pot and pressure cook for 4 minutes. Quick Release Steam.

  2. Stir in butter and cream cheese until melted, then add cheese and milk, a quarter of each at a time, stirring as you go. Stop adding milk if it becomes too thin

  3. Let thicken for 10 minutes on 'Keep warm'.

  4. Add milk as necessary to achieve desired consistency.
