  • Sprout & sow sweet peas indoors

  • Prune blueberries, blackcurrants & pinkcurrants
  • Cut back pampas grass
  • Tidy strawberry beds
  • Pot up berries if needed (blueberries require ericaceous compost)

Week Two

  • Tidy garden, get rid of last leaves
  • Remove grass from tree bases
  • Feed & mulch trees with poultry manure, fresh compost and feed
  • Section ginger (optional) and soak in water before potting indoors
  • Sprout chickpeas for sowing

  • Plant sprouted chickpeas
  • Start onion sets in small pots indoors
  • Sow Lettuce. Leave in porch to germinate (no heat mat)
