Yet Another New Pattern: Divot – Twice The Fun Through Thick And Thin

Divot Beret in DK weight yarn

It’s been a particularly productive period here at Eskimimi Makes, and so I am pleased to announce yet another new pattern, and it’s a bit of a double whammy as the pattern actually contains two download files to knit the hat in one of two yarn weights; DK (as shown above, or Bulky/Chunky weight, as below.

Having a choice of yarn weights to work the hat in makes this pattern an absolutely fabulous stash-buster and it knits up so quickly that you can easily make several to match different outfits.
Hat decreases

One of the elements that really makes this design stand out and will hopefully mean it is set to become a classic addition to both the wardrobe and pattern repertoire of many knitters are the structural decreases which give the finished hat a subtle graphic styling and a beautiful element of detailing to the simplicity of this pattern.

The pattern is listed both on Eskimimi Makes and on Ravelry in the form of an eBook, which gives the knitter access to both patterns for download.
