4kcbwday3 Infographic
There are many ways of conveying information on a blog; text and images being the two most widely used. Many infographics combine both these elements to provide a visual way of presenting text information.
After days of intensive research I present to readers the image of the average knitter or crocheter.
Essentially, yarn wranglers are a busy lot, spending 55% of their time industriously working away on their projects whilst spending a quarter of their hours on the lookout for new ideas and techniques. 13% of the time they can be seen enjoying the comforts of their craft and devote 7% of their expertise to the application of buttons and other expressions of the ‘ooh, shiny!’ (Figures correct as of the beginning of Knitting & Crochet Blog Week).
In fact, I think this so accurately resembles me that I might even get away using it as a passport photo.

Ah a Monpeabeetee! Ecellent π
eXcellent oops
I love this – I think many of us could use it as a passport photo.
Clever girl π
Hahaha…too funny! Love your infograph!
Cute X
Excellent! I love it:)
That is an extremely cute animal, I particularly like the expression on the monkey’s face!
Love! I always knew that we knitters were cute!
Spot on! Adorable infograph π but so true!
LOL excellent π
I love it! Just what would you call this creature? Well, other than a knitter.
That… is so spot on for every single crafter I know it’s almost not funny. Except it totally is. Our collective spirit animal: The Peankabee!
I love this! Super creative way of showing the statistics and representing “the knitter”.
This is so funny!
If you could get away with that as your passport photo, we’re all in trouble. We could argue that we’re all alike and, thus, *look* alike, too π
I love this, it’s so cute and accurate! Very well done π
I am so glad you did this, because when I first read about the houses I thought I should be a mash up of all of them. It’s so cute with the little peacock hairs!
Snicker.
I love this.
Love it, might be the next progression from Marvellous Madge the Monkey with Bee tendencies :-)… once her doodle becomes an amigurumi x
Hah, nicely done.
That is really cool, and I think it is a good summary of most crafters π
Heh, brilliant π You realise you’re going to have to create a pattern for that now, right?
LOL Thats awesome! I am probably going to give this one a miss in favour of actually picking up my yarn and needles.
Oh, I thought I was looking in a mirror there for a second. LOL Very cute, and oh so true!
This was an interesting exercise to say the least! Love your depiction. Mine was basically about a housewife’s daily dilemma — cook OR knit!!!!!

Amazing draw! I thinks it’s pretty accurate.
It’s like looking into a mirror!
